Three things to love
- Zips on in one go. One long front zip, with a soft fabric guard at the chin and a fabric strip behind it.
- Soft brushed cotton fleece. Brushed on the inside, smooth and matte on the outside, with cream cuffs that turn back.
- Soft from ears to tail. The ears, the little horns and the tuft of a tail are stuffed fabric, sewn into the seams. No cords, no buttons, no plastic eyes.
An honest note: the baby in our videos isn't real. Every video is AI-generated. Pronkie is our own design, now being made, and orders only open once we've checked the first sample ourselves.

What is Pronkie like?
A zip-front hooded babygrow in soft brushed cotton fleece. Cinnamon tan on the back, shoulders and outer arms and legs, a chocolate-brown band along each side, and creamy white on the belly, inner legs and cuffs. The hood has a cream panel around the face, two soft ears and two short, soft stuffed horns, and there's a little white tuft of a tail. Footless, with fold-over cuffs. We confirm the final details when we check the sample.
What sizes will there be?
0–3, 3–6, 6–12 and 12–18 months. Each size also shows the baby's height (up to 62 cm, 62–68 cm, 68–80 cm and 80–86 cm), because height is a better guide than age.
What's it made of?
Soft brushed cotton fleece, brushed on the inside, with cream rib cuffs and a cream cotton jersey lining in the hood. The ears, horns and tail are filled with polyester fibre. The exact fibre content will be on the label once the first sample is made.
How do I wash it?
The plan: wash at 30 °C on a gentle cycle, inside out with the zip closed, with similar colours. Don't tumble dry, and dry it in the shade. We'll confirm the care label after we've washed the first sample ourselves.
A note on the hood
Take the hood off indoors and for sleep.
Why "Pronkie"?
It comes from pronk: the bouncy, stiff-legged leap that little antelope do out in the Karoo.
What will you email me?
